Fuel Line - What diameter?

What diameter fuel line are we supposed to use?
it's a 82 US Version if that matters.

If you use metric measurements use the 6mm size.

Is it 6 or 7? I thought the stock stuff was 7 but I may be mistaken. Doesn't much matter as most places stock 1/4" and 5/16".  :( The hose barbs and fitting measure between the two 'merican sizes and depending on brand and how soft/flexible, either can be made to work.

6mm is just slightly smaller than 1/4", 7mm slightly larger than 1/4".
