caliper shims ?

ok, so this is one that I'd never heard of but I have the strange issue of the wheel rolling forward ok but not backwards.
apparently it has been covered here in the past.

most disk brakes have shims in order to prevent squealing but the ratcheting effect is something I've not seen.

I did find them listed online in the neighborhood of about 40 apiece,  so I'm headed over to ebay to
see if I can find a set reasonably, otherwise, if anyone has a couple of these that they wouldn't mind parting with ?
