A bit of a long shot but here goes.....

I'm (again) considering converting an '82 to the '83 twin disk setup and am looking for a fork set. Does anyone have one they're not using?

If my 650 Turbo forks swap works, I might be willing to let mine go but don't hold your breath. I don't do anything on the spur of the moment.

What is the advantage of the 650 turbo forks over the 83 forks ?

just curious

They are a mm larger in diameter, therefore stiffer and the axle is not offset, looks better to my eye. Problems, need new wheel bearings due to the larger diameter axle and a different fender.
