Fuel Pump Pressure?
« on: April 30, 2016, 08:28:01 PM »
Does anyone know what the correct pressure a fuel pump should be producing? I sold my XZ to a mate who is now racing it and he wants to fit a comparable pump but would like to know the stock PSI rating. Would it be around 10psi? Cheers Glyn New Zealand.

When I was looking I couldn't find anything mentioned.  Ducati sites - they seem to recommend 2-3PSI max for electric pump conversions which they seem to do a lot.

I ended up getting this 2 PSI electric pump made in NZ.  It will flow 1.5 litres a minute (a full tank in 11 minutes) so I think plenty even for hard core racers. Haven't tried it out yet.
