fuse block and r/r relocation

Certainly this subject has been covered many times but just wanted to throw another alternate location in for both a quality fuse block and mosfet regulator/rectifier.  The fuse block is from Blue Sea Systems and they have several configurations.  Highly recommend for their quality too.

It is a bypass oil filter.  Runs in parallel with the stock full flow filter.

So..., is this a permanent modification, and if so, where does the battery live?  If not permanent, what was/is the purpose of the modification?

Yes, this is a permanent installation.  Oil is tapped from where pressure switch was.  (Switch has been relocated to manifold seen under filter)  System filters oil through a much finer filter media than the full flow filter is capable of, hopefully protecting the Vision's vulnerable main bearings.  (Think wet clutch and the resulting clutch friction material contaminating the oil.) Oil capacity is increased approximately 1 quart aiding cooling and when reintroduced where the oil fill once was, may aid in cooling the stator windings.  Pictures shown were made during fabrication and not fully complete but I've managed to fit a small lithium battery under the existing side cover alongside the filter.
