Simple question..but i have a habit of drawing my questions out so ill keep it simple ;D

How far would you say the maximum distance the rear tire moves (up and down..) when your riding (as compared to the normal semi-compressed stage of the bike just sitting there).  simply put..  if the desire was to chop the frame from the gastank back (take off frame that seat mounts too)..  how close would I be able to mount a fender to the rear wheel without having it it rub against the fender when a bump is hit???  (i.e..  crusiers have closer fender clearance..when we have probabaly a foot or near it)....

anyone have any idea??

Thanks,

Blake

You ever think of mounting the rear fender like the front is mounted. Long as you mount it to the swingarm you can mount it like inch off the tire. Alot of the new bikes mount it like that. Peace
