The annual Hot Rod Rumble is a proper mad hill climb for old cars and bikes. This guy named Vincent tried a Harley sportster engine in a KTM MX chassis and now seeking to downsize he opted to buy the Vision Tracker from me a while ago.
Vincent got a barging price and followed it up with flying colors by placing on top of the box in Hot Rod Rumble! It was Vincents plan all along to enter the Vision Tracker and equipped with what looks like proper slanted dirt track tires he released the fury. HRR is a bracket type race and being the second fastest bike Vincent took the win by the smallest time different between the two runs. Before I sold the bike, it got fine-tuned with some cool stickers. Ready to race it would seem. I don't really know Vincent but he was a cool customer and apparently he found the throttle.

I find I futile dwelling over how far from good business amateur bike building is, profit was never an option with this build but rather a form of self-medication. There can't be a nicer way to part from the bike that has given me so much satisfaction and worries. Hope you like the news of the Vision on a winning streak!

fret not

Very good!  I see from the photos that the motorcycle participants are mostly older guys.  Rather like around here at ROV.  It certainly has the appearance of a day of fun for all.
Retired, on the downhill slide. . . . . . . . still feels like going uphill!

Awesome post! Not only is the Tracker a cool looking build but as it turns out a contender as well. It really looks the part with those tires. Nice to see the new owner was able to "find the throttle" and "release the fury".  ;D  Well done.
It is far better to grasp the universe as it really is then to persist in delusion, however satisfying or reassuring.  Carl Sagan

Great job on the build of the bike and thanks for posting the pics of it in competition.
Not only looks the job, but does the job!
Congratulations!

That is one beautiful build. I hope Yamaha sees this.
