Have a 1982 xz550 with the sport cowl, but the windscreen has many cracks around the bolt holes.
Anyone have one in better shape? I don't mind a couple of cracks. Tx

Bump because I destroyed my shark fairing windscreen today. Curious to see if there's any on the market.

fret not

There are plastic shops that can replicate your original if you have the original.  It is easier to work with a more or less whole screen but if you have all the pieces they can still get it pretty close.  Either that or learn how to make a mold and carefully heat the plastic so it forms to the mold.  Precise heat control is a big deal for this process.

I did manage to get an old snowmobile screen an heated it slowly to fit and cut to fit, but it was a pita.... works though.

To quote a wise person,"Declare victory and move on".  Glad you got it handled.
