Front Fairing Removal

I have my upper front fairing unbolted and unplugged. I can't get it around the mirror mount posts. Manuals have nothing to say. Any technique on how to pull it off the bike?
  I'll be adding some plugs for phone, heated gear, GPS etc.

I got it! Pull forward then up.
