Rev limiter lead - which one is it

   Which is the rev. limiter lead and where is it to be found for snipping? I think I read that it is the yellow/black lead into the ignitor module but would really appreciate any clarification.

Yes, yellow/black. You can cut it or release it from the plug and tape the connector. That way you can put it back should you decide to fix the rev limiter circuit. So far, I don't know if anyone has. They are weird though, mine would fail when it got warm and somebody on here recently reported the opposite.

Thanks Walt.
My engine is behaving as described in that recent post you mentioned. Very likely not the limiter but I think I'll rule that out before pulling the carbs down, or changing the coils or ignitor.
