My left footpeg cover is shot. How do you remove it? I kinda tugged on it but not really hard. Is it screwed on somehow? Glued? Would a prybar get it off?

I see the XS 650 site wants $4 for it, BUT..... :D

$30 min order.  >:(

Looks like I'm off to the boneyard...
Life is special; and I believe you can overcome it's biggest obstacle, yourself. ;)

Pull hard.  My left one fell off (had to keep it on with a zip tie while I ordered the new one).  The covers are held on usually by friction, though there was a little lip inside mine which hooked on to the metal insert.

You could also cut it off by slicing through the rubber on the back top side.

They're only 10 each at the yamaha dealership.

That seems like it might be only for free shipping, maybe if you paid shipping you could place a smaller order.

I cut wine back to front, with a course hack saw.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there in lurks the skid demon
