Reectifier/Regulator

My Vision had a bad regulator according to the electrex troubleshooting chart, and since you check all the brands of bikes about the same way, it seemed to me the main difference was the wire colors! So I replaced it with one from a Kawasaki, hardwiring, and soldering it in! Reran all electrex tests and everything checked out great! The old one was overchargeing battery! Since I got the Kawasaki regulator/Rectifier free, this saved much money! Is this likely to cause problems down the line? ??? :P

The Kawi RR is a recomended change . The one from a CX500 honda is good too! the only thing that will happen, is your battery will more likley stay charged.
