Has anyone had any probs with the front brake switch? I was about to go for a ride last night and noticed my brake light wasn't coming on. So today I tried disassembling the switch which is really a pain in the butt. I broke it in the process and was wondering if it is possible to buy a new one.

I would advice checking all connections first, I had this problem but with rear sensor. it was corroded internally.

Actually those switches are rather everlasting, but of course u can order it as a separate element or buy an used one, the number of part is given at bandits site:

Actually I think u don't need OEM one since probably few bikes of Yamaha use t6he same switch and actually it is possible that u will find similar in automotive shops, I have them in Poland and they are easily available.
