Starting Issues

I bought my 82 Vision, and it ran a little rough.  Now it doesn't even start.  I checked out the solenoid and it is kicking out about 5 ohms too much.  The starter relay doesn't show any resistance, which I assume is not good.

The really weird part is sometimes, after I try to pop-start it, the engine will try to turn over when I hit the starter, instead of the characteristic and annoying "click" that I hear when I try to start it normally.

Can someone let me know where I should go from here? Thanks.

Sounds like your starter is filled with oil, mine showed the exact symptoms you describe.  hope this helps
