Electrex fault chart needs clarification

While testings Glen I's V today, we found that when the regulator reached operating temp, or possably the high end of it's operating temp, it was causing the output to drop to battery voltage, and the bike to cut out.

some background: earlier this year we replaced the stator with an electrex unit, and the connections on both sides of the reg/rec were soldered.  both connections had shown heat dammage.

Now to the point: -pay attention, this is complicated:
on the flow chart, at the first test in section "B", [testing the 12V switched (brown) wire] the test results are options of either:
"reading is lower than 0.2V / You have LESS than 4 different wire- COLOURS"

--OR--

"More than 0.2V"

the problem here is the Vision reg/rec has LESS than 4 colors, (ignore the yellow), so if your testing your r/r at this point and the result is more than 0.2V, then, according to the chart, BOTH results would apply.  Obviously this cannot be correct, so after a quick call to Electrex their response was to go with the readings, not the wire count.  the rep i spoke with said he would look into this paradox. so there may be a correction to the chart in the future.

hope this avoids confusion for someone in the future.
