that's the way the software works.

No, what he means is that when he signs in, his name is first in the line of names in the bottom of the Home page labeled "Users Online".

To address the question in the original post. Yes you are special.

Actually it puts my name first when I'm on my computer and signed in also.  I think that your name (whoever you may be) is first in the list of users online, when you are looking on a computer where you are signed in.  Make sense?
