Hi!
When I changed my tyres last fall my speedometer quit working.  I have checked and found that wheel rotation don?t transmit to the speedometer unit on the wheel hub. Anyone encountered this problem before and have a solution. Maybe something I lost during disassembling the front wheel last fall. Checked the Haynes manual but I can?t see anything missing. I?m confused!

Problem solved! ;D
When I reassembled the wheel last fall i didn't align the tabs on the washer in the hub
with the cutouts in the speedometer gear unit.
Then when I tightened the wheel axle I managed to bend the tabs. The tabs just couldn't reach the cutouts. Just bent back the tabs and the speedo is working again. Always nice to learn something new.
Time for a beer.

I have had that happen tome several times over the years.  You learn to be careful to assemble with the tab in the correct position.  Congradulations on an excellent diagnosis and fix.  Cheers.
