Hey every one, ;D

I crashed lightly :-[, and the two little pipes that come from the thermostat houseing to the waterjacket. I maybe still be able to salvege them. What is the best way to remove them, the mounts did not crack or brake. The pipes are made of softer metal, I guess. What is the replacement procedure for them??? I guess i will need some new ones.

Thank you verymuch!!!!

The coolant pipes you need are available from Speed & Sport, INC.
www.speedandsportinc.com/

Yamaha part numbers:
11H-12485-00-00   --   $16.42 (US)
11H-12484-00-00   --   $18.71 (US)

You may be able to find them at your local Yamaha dealer as well.  Prices aren't as bad as I thought they might be for Yamaha parts!

Glad you weren't hurt too bad in the mishap!  Good luck getting your V back on thee road.

If you have an accident on a motorcycle, it's always your fault. Tough call, but it has to be that way. You're in the right, and dead -on a bike. The principle is not to have any accident. If you're involved in an an accident, it's because you did not anticipate. Then, by default, you failed.
