82 carb kit

Just rolled bike out of garage after 15 years or longer. Will the carb kits from keyster work on the 82' . I would like to thank Lucky for pointing me to this site. I don't think i could tackle this bike without it.Spent the last day reading all the info,great site.

If you are doing your carbs, the Keyster kits work good.  Keep you main jets though, I believe the Keyster kits are wrong.  Keep the settings from the factory (122.5 front, 127.5 in the rear)  but everything else is ok.  In my 82 carbs, I run 135 main air jets (as do many members of the forum) hope this helps.

Why do you need these kits?

I have an 82 model here in the UK, should I be fitting a kit?

they are REBUILD kits. used when overhauling your carbs.
