holes in bottom of airbox

I know this is a repost but last one I put it in another conversation...
The question was about a couple of holes that appeared to be factory on the bottom of my airbox. This led me to believe that not all air comes through the vacuum actuated door and some comes directly though the bottom...

Do you guys think that my box was altered or is this normal?

it's normal and a negligable amount of air enters.
