Looks like the NC Highway patrol will be out in force and based off what I'm hearing from back home they're randomly stopping any bikers not just those that give them a reason, so make sure if your in the area that all your gear and endorsements are up to par.

The MC unit from Raleigh lost a member just two years ago on I-40 when he came too close to the inside edge of the road. There was a chunk of concrete out which caused him to lose control in to traffic. Even the professionals are not exempt from mistakes.
