Well I finally got a break and im looking to tune the carbs tonight. Lucky mentioned to me to make sure the flat side of the sync rod is next to the carb. Both sides of the sync rod are/is (not sure bad engrish) flat.

Is there a certian way the rod should be oriented? It seems one butterfly spring is stronger than the other.

Should the nut side of the rod be closer to the front or rear?

I believe he is refering to the ends. Attached to each carb. Atherwise the pivots are incorrectly mounted...ALSO...the lock nut should be to the front...REMEMBER you are adjusting the front carb to match the rear....got it...?
looks aren't important, if she lets you play by your rules
