Almost makes me wish I lived closer.  Dad grew up in East Lansing, MI & we took trips back to visit his parents every summer in the 60s.  Was also back in Michican a few years ago when I helped my best friend & his wife move out to Mount Pleasant so she could go to P.A. school at Central Michigan University.  Saw lots of back roads that looked like fun riding.

If you have an accident on a motorcycle, it's always your fault. Tough call, but it has to be that way. You're in the right, and dead -on a bike. The principle is not to have any accident. If you're involved in an an accident, it's because you did not anticipate. Then, by default, you failed.

I rode out on the Keewaanaw(spelling) peninisula in UP MI a couple years ago.  Was a great area to ride in...

Was actually the first ride I did with the Red Vision.
...a vision is never complete.
