As stated in the title of this thread I am looking for a good strong adhesive for plastics.  I have to fix the mirror stalk on the right side fairing mount mirror.  The actual upper portion of the mirror has broken off the stock and I need to reattach it before I can get Black "Beauty" inspected.

So, any and all suggestions are welcome.  What is the best adhesive that I could use to reattach the upper mirror portion to the lower portion of the stock?

3M makes a couple great plastic bonding glues.  They are somewhat hard to find....

Can use Gorilla Glue or get some model airplane glue

Locktite makes a super glue especially for plastic. it comes with a seperate tube of activator. it seems to last better that regular super glue which i've found disintergrates over time.  i have it holding together a 'John Deer' traveling sprinkler at the moment. it's holding up to the water pressure just fine.

Ace Hardware sells it (or at least mine does)
