I think that you may have an advantage, due to the language barrier, on getting some historical information on the bike, for example, how many were built.

How do you deal with the charging system problems?

Many of us would be curious about XZ550 parts availability in Japan.  Some things are difficult to find here such as exhaust systems and rear shock absorbers.  Are there aftermarket or upgrade parts available?

Yamaha part supply is not everything.
Japanes Custom manufacturer  does not make  XZ550 after part.
domestic used item is gathered or buy in the European auction.
