yep both our v's got flesh wounds this weekend  :o

my brother has started carrying a starter log (rocks are so harsh)......
and I noticed that my oil spit could be coming from one or two sources.....

first, I saw a drip coming from the top of the left side case and thought... hmmm... it's that bolt with the washer... no biggie... then I noticed the casting for the front bolt above the oil fill was half broken off....

it was cracked when I got it, so I reinforced it with JB gingerly snugged the bolt when I did that side's PM...

I wiped the oil seeps off both areas and didn't see any leaking for the second 100 miles today so.....

..... we're both going to try to limp to the end of the season  :o woooHoooo  ;D

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming HOOOOYA lets go again baby !!!!!!

'82 Vision, Pearl Orange finish, lots of up-grades!!!

Night Vision

thanks, but I already have one brushed off and ready.... shouldn't take too long to swap.... plus I get to see how my low voltage stator is holding up... have around 3500 miles on it so I'm kinda curious how crispified it looks  :-\
