Ok, a two point question.
First off, what should the vision be idling at? I just got mine back from the shop after buying it 5 months ago and never getting it started. It runs beautifully, but I feel like the idle is a wee bit low; somewhere around 1200rpm.
Secondly, which direction increases the idle speed screw, clockwise? or counterclockwise?

Thanks!

Idle speed per the manual is 1300 RPM's, but it depends on the bike.  Set it to where the bike runs the best.  If you have it to low then it will act like it is bogging out, and if it is to high it will start to making a putt putt sound every few seconds.

Idle adjust screw is clockwise to increase and counter clockwise to decrease.

1200 RPM for the idle isn't actually to bad as long as you still have around 13 volts going back to the battery.  If it is around say 12.8 at the battery while running try to increase the idle to 1250 and see if you have 13.  Other then that if you have 13 volts at 1200 RPMs and it sounds and idles good, I'd leave it.
