windsheild

ok on my vision my windsheild has yellowed from sitting... and on my dads jeep the head light yellowed.. now at advanced auto they sell this headlight cleaning kit that takes the yellowing out of the headlight it comes with the cleaner and the sealer has any one thought of tring this on the windsheild of their bike??? if it works the sure beats paying any wheres from 80 to 120 for a wind sheild if this happens

I've used that stuff for my headlight
it works OK but didnt take all the yellow out
there are others that have managed to get all the yellow out of their windshields but I am not sure they used this product to do so
...a vision is never complete.

  You could try a product made by Eastwood called "Autosol"  it works very well on auto headlights. It's actually a metal polish but works wonders on plastics. :)

i tried the headlight polish stuff on my suzuki gs550 (great guinea pig i kno where i can pick up a cheep windsheild if it screwe it up) and it worked great.. i need to remove the windsheild and redo it because i didnt sand enough with the wetsand and i can see some swirls..
