1987 srx 250

i got a friend that bought a 87' srx 250 for $50 and it runs but the timing is way off.. (sucks air from the exhaust and blows exhaust out of the air box???) any one ever heard of this b4 and if so how would i go about fixing this for him??

the cam or cam sprocket was not reinstalled properly!

Aye, crank/cam timing is 180' out.  Needs to have primary timing reset. :o
