vision import update

hi all  update on my vision,the frame number starts 11h-01xxxx so i guess that means its a 82 model and so is an import to the uk.The air box top has a yamaha parts sticker on with the number 90891-1090 on,is this the number for the flap modification? I will be stripping down the carbs to see if the needles i got fit and sorting starter so hopefully i will have a runner by the end of the weekend

yes, that is the part number for the airbox lid.

easy enough to tell if the flapper mod has been done just by looking for a vaccum actuated rod that goes to the flapper door... and then assume they put the other bits on  ;)

there is a vacume unit,a rod and a flap inside the lid i just wondered if having the parts sticker on ment it had been done as a modification rather than from the factory
