Anyone try this stuff yet?

From the review it sounds like it'd be great for patching cracked/broken side panels, fairing pieces (such as the lower middle spot on the silver '83 in my garage), etc.

Ah, such fun to be out riding...

Good find, Alewulf!  I have a shark fairing body I need to do some work on.  Was going to get a plastic welder from Harbor Freight, but this looks like a better solution.  Think I'll give it a try before going with the melting strategy.

If you have an accident on a motorcycle, it's always your fault. Tough call, but it has to be that way. You're in the right, and dead -on a bike. The principle is not to have any accident. If you're involved in an an accident, it's because you did not anticipate. Then, by default, you failed.

I was thinking of maybe trying to fix a panel that's currently riveted together on mine, as well as a connection point that's snapped off.  Those are down the road to use as spares though.

Nine years ago ,before I managed to secure a few parts V's, I repaired plastic side covers with a product called  Pc 12 , its intended for refrigeration and marine applications and will even set unde water. Its great and not too much money . You can get it at ACE hard ware.
