Y-pipe gasket

The XZ Project continues:

My stock exhaust turned out to be very solid and usable but -

I'll need the Y-pipe lower gasket where it fits into the crossover chamber.  Mine was in sad shape.

I found Babbitts Online a while back, lo and behold they have listings for the '82 and '83 XZ550R.  Prices are pretty good as well, and they do let you know when the parts are unobtainium by having no price, scarcity they ask you to "Call Us".  Worth a try, if you can't find it anywhere else.

Dude, while you're in there, it'd behoove you to replace the copper ring gaskets up inside the manifold clamps. You've already got it apart it'll be loads easier to do it now instead of later if they end up failing.

I just did mine, they are a bit of a pain to replace due to the location, but no more exhaust leaking.  :)
