Ok, I was jacking around with my vision and was messing around with the rear brake switch and really paid attention to the data that Yamaha put on the right side cover (as you are facing the same way the bike is pointing). I couldn't help but notice that it called for minimum 91 octane LEADED. Does anyone use any lead substitute in their gasoline and should it make a difference with todays gasoline?
I have about 4-6 weeks to really dig further and get to know the bike a little better since I am getting hernia surgery tomorrow morning.

I've pretty much run 87 (California) unleaded for the last 43,120 miles.

Vision valve seats are of sufficient quality, that they won't burn on unleaded gas.
