While a Vision escort was sadly missing from the royal procession today it can only be attributed to the fact that only wooden carriages can survive the harsh climate of merry old England. However, I have to say that it was a thrill to watch the Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane commanding the skies once again.
For all native sons & daughters of this fair island, we wish you a strong and prosperous future and congratulate you on this festive day :). You have blessed many nations and we as Canadians wish this young successor to the throne of England much wisdom and grace, as they anticipate the great challenges our nations may face. We look forward to their first royal visit this summer.
God save the Queen!
As an actual English person, I wouldn't describe myself as a royalist, but I must admit to watching the wedding, and if its one we English do it's pomp and ceremony.
We're taught it from birth ;) :D ;D
I'm glad to see my English tax money being put to good use.
Anyway best wishes to the happy couple.
