Title: Gas Tank Preservation
Post by: Re-Vision on August 02, 2009, 09:48:41 PM
Have five gas tanks and keys for four of them,  I have not done an extensive examination on any of them but some have liquid in them.  I will probably repair side dent and POR-15 one of them for the bike I hope to rebuild.  Question, how best to clean and preserve the others until they are needed?  :) Put a quart of 2-stroke oil in an empty tank, give it a good swirl around and empty out... 8)
