Powder Coating

Has anyone had a play with the home handyman powder coat setups you can get for about $100 & are they worth it

the school i went to (the memory is starting to fade) had a pretty dodgy setup. I think the quality in these setups is how evenly heated the metal is and how good the powder is.

I've been ordering one of those... but decided to wait when I realized that I would  need to buy a media blasting setup and a larger air compressor. I would say, just like painting, a lot depends on the prep work..
