Title: Riding groups in Portland, Oregon?
Post by: Squirrels on August 08, 2007, 01:05:53 AM
I've been really getting into riding my V all over, but I've always been riding solo.  I'm fairly solitary to begin with, but would like to see if I enjoy group riding.  My riding buddy, Packman, is seldom in town.  I was wondering if anyone knows of any groups in this area that they might recommend.  The more informal the better.  I can't see myself as one to participate on big slow ride to a destination on a pre-planned route.

Thanks,

Come to the CROV ride September 28 - 30.  I guarantee there will be some riders riding fast enough for you, whatever speed you like to ride, and lots of fun to be had. No destination, we'll end up where we start.

Squirrel,

You're welcome to travel down from Medford with the Lori and I. We'll have a bike trailer behind the SUV for the freeway part!
CROV set a record with 13 last year and they pick great western mountain roads for there rides. No "famous" roads, just great roads without crowds.
