Motorcyclist dies and gets bike stolen to boot....what a shame...

I just heard this morning about a motorcycle fatality here in SW Ontario.

Members of the Norfolk O.P.P. responded to a single vehicle collision between, Villanova road and Concession 2, on Indian Line (County Road 20) Townsend Twp, Norfolk County. The collision involving a single motor vehicle occurred approximately 3:00 p.m on September 08th 2008

The vehicle an unknown motorcycle was traveling with a single male operator north on Indian Line. The vehicle entered the ditch causing the driver to be ejected from the vehicle.  The male was transported to Brantford General Hospital with serious life threatening injuries.

Immediately following the collision a Beige or Brown SUV was seen at the scene, a male exited the vehicle retrieved the motorcycle and drove it north away from the scene of the collision, along Indian Line.

Indian Line is closed from Concession 2 to Villanova Road to traffic during the on-scene investigation for several hours. The OPP technical traffic collision investigators are on the scene trying to determine the cause.

The investigation is continuing.  OPP would like to speak with anyone who may have information useful to this investigation.  They are asked to call the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122.

No names are being released pending notification of next-of-kin


It's a shame how some humans can live with a conscience after doing something like this.
