Allis-Chalmer forklift fitted with CBR600 muffler

After getting tired of listening to the hole in the old muffler on the shop forklift I decided to replace it with one of the motorcycle cans that I picked up for free off of Craigs list awhile back.

As you can see in the first pic the hole was pretty nasty.  And my welding job could have been prettier but there are no leaks at all.  Unfortunately the forklift does not sound like a CBR600.  I actually liked the grunt it gave with just the flex pipe on it, sort of like a 4 cylinder racecar.  But that would have annoyed the office staff everytime I would have started the forklift. ::)
