OK, I'll bite, when I parked mine this morning "at work" the odometer read 34938.7 miles.

Binary doesn't handle floating point numbers...  At least not the version that you quoted  ;D

Brian, you are correct. Binary deals in whole numbers only, so does hex, A9AA for yours and Don's(rounded up) would be 887B.
