Hot gas tank

My tank gets extremely hot while riding and was wondering if anyone has this issue as well.

  Kev, Go to one of the Hdwr/ Box stores & purchase a roll of the insulating material used for hot air ducts (furnace) I have both of mine done ,as well as the extra holes drilled in the tank inlet neck so the fuel doesn't spill all over the tank on refills.
