:) Another multi "V" household... 8) I've just had an email from Wolf in Sarnia, Ontario. He informs me that he is
daddy to another, near road worthy, '82... 8) I'm sure picture's of the "new arrival" will be posted soon.
Congratulation's and well done Wolf... 8)
8).......TIGER....... 8)
and a yellow one at that..... gotta love that pipe ;D
Thanks for posting the new vision,NV---I managed to fry my camera by once AGAIN not shutting down the right gismo before disconnecting from the computer....sigh...so your posted pic will be the only one until I trundle back from the camera store...sheeesh.
I was thinking cherry red...but I'm actually starting to like the yellow. Ii's going to have to be repainted properly regardless. First to the mechanicals---major carbueration problems, the world's stiffest clutch, check the stator etc.etc....
here's a couple from Tiger sent them awhile back
heh heh, it just dawned on me....
Wolf's V has a Wolf exhaust..... aaaarrrRRRRROOOOO ;D
Is he drinking a Pina Colada at Trader Vic's with Perfect hair? ;D
H2O
Right, that does it. It's going to be repainted. RED.
Seat too.
Does kind of match my hair, though.
I can see it now.....
Wolf... riding Litt'l Red... through the hood ::)

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah ooooooooooooooooooooooo!
::)
At 10:30 this morning the SNNNAARRRLL of a reborn vision split the air in the neighbourhood---the Flying Banana lives!
The carb that came with it had bad jets, leaked--got her running, but only on one cylinder--had another, untried carb from Harry's bike shop in Chatham,On--installed it, a bit of fiddling and WOW does she run!! Sweet sounding engine, no bad mechanical noises, just a nice ducati like snarl out of the can...boys,I think I got a good one...
Now boys...the name. Little Red if I paint her red...but the more I see the yellow the more I like it. Yellow Jacket is taken, she deserves better than ol'yeller....Ladies and gentlemen, introducing---the Flying Banana!
P.S. a big thanks to Kiawrench for the battery cable plans--made some up,worked like a charm, much better than the automotive kind.
8) Whoopee..."The Flyin' Banana" lives again 8) 8) 8)...and to think the previous owner gave up on her 'cause he couldn't get her to run :o ...Where have we heard that before... ::)
I bet she sounds real sweeeeeeet with that Wolf exhaust system on her...Congratulation's Wolf. Look forward to seeing her very soon...
8).......TIGER....... 8)
p.s. To celebrate...Banana splits for everyone at the OnROV Summer ride, next week ;D :D :D :D :D :D... ;)
Flying Banana..... :D I like the name, but the yellow text is hard 2 C. ;)
May no longer be politically correct, but how about "die Gelbe Gefahr"? ;D

>:( politically correct, my a$$...Its "The Flying Banana" ;D ;D :D :D :D :D
Nothing wrong with Flying Banana, it's "die Gelbe Gefahr" ("The Yellow Peril") that may have the negative connotations.
Am I Curious Yellow? ;D

Canada

does someone make it, is it available for purchase.
It was looked into a while ago. The guy who builds them can make more if someone sends him a system. We were talking about getting a group order together, but nothing ever came of it. Maybe we could try again. I'd be interested in one if we decide to do the group buy.
H2O
It really is a sweet sounding exhaust.Did the safety, licence, etc. today---she goes on the road this week if the tank doesn't leak and the charging system works.
Anyone within range--join us for the summer OnROV and see and hear it for yourself.
??? Do this mean yer gonna be ridin' "The Flyin" Banana" for the "Wolf Run"... ???
...I'm workin' on it. A certain Montreal would-be visionary (aka my son) may be able to find time off work and make it down for the ride.Time's tight, but I'd love to get the FB roadworthy (and temporarily insured) and running so he can join us--either on the Revision or on the FB.

I would too so long as I could afford it.
Congratulations Wolf on your new purchase!
Dorothy & I are trying to fit some days off into your ride -nothing solid as of now.
I talked with Gary the fella who made the Wolf pipes about three years ago & I sent him the pipe I have as he did not have any of his jigs left.
He wanted some idea of how many people wanted a system before he would build any, I mentioned it on the site but could not get any solid commitments,so I left it as a dead deal.
Thats all the info I have on the pipes.
Cheers Ken S.
I think alot of members would be interested but it would be the cost involved that might kill the deal. What do you think the cost might be if, let's say 15 members were interested?
I believe Ron McCoy was thinking about building some exhausts as well but I don't think any plans are definite.
if the price is right i would be interested, otherwise i'll be making my own soon.
uhh... wolf exaust system... iv heard good thing about them and that they are some what hard to get... I WANT.... mhm... lol but i think im starting to like my macs that iv got...
Got the Flying Banana on the road today, swweeeet vvrrrrooooom!!, unfortunately with the classic vision stumble when I crack open the throttle, so she needs some fiddling yet. But the motor hums, no weird noises, and the exhaust is excellent. I think she potentially makes better power than the Revision, once the hesitation is sorted out.
:) Got to eyeball
"The Flying Banana" over the weekend at "Wolf's Retreat"...nice one Wolf, nice one...really love that Wolf exhaust system 8) 8) She will make a nice addition to the family next season... 8) We will both have an alternative ride next spring ;D :D :D :D :D... 8)
