This is a great resource run by Fred at The Kickstand Lodge (www.kickstandlodge.com), it is the Rider Roadside Rescue: http://www.kickstandlodge.com/rescue/

I think, as riders of tempermental motorcycles, we all should add our names to this list. If you're on a road trip, anywhere, this list is free to use if you breakdown. Call someone on this list and they will try and help you...

Awesome idea! I added my name. I'll probably see some action. I'm in the intersection of I-95 and I-40.

Mutt, are you by Statesville?
A bad marrage is like dirty carbs... It just makes everything else suck.

Mutt's just East of Raleigh, I am just 2 hours North of Statesville.

are there enough of us (active?) to start our own list? I'd be nice(r) to have parts we need in time of need  :)

Maybe Ron or someone trustworthy could set it up as a "private" list that no crazies could get hold of...

wait a minute, we are a bunch of crazies  :P :P , never mind....

I look at it as the more people on any list, puts someone close to where I broke down. If someone can get me off the side of the road and put me and the bike some place safe, I can probably use this forum to get parts overnighted to me and work out all the details once I get to where I was going....  (The side of the interstate doesn't have a physical address for FedEx to deliver to).

I'm in. I posted to the kickstand link and if we do a Vision rescue I would be glad to help.
