has anyone removed fairing/windshield from an 83

i want to take off the fairing and windshield and leave it off, will the headlight still be able to mount to the front or will i have to fab something up.

With the 83 fairing the headlight is secured in the fairing.  On the stock 82 there was a headlight bracket that the sport fairing bolted onto.

So in short you will need a bracket for the headlight.

Bracket should be easy to get as alot of people take it off to do the full fairing
