Title: fuse holder
Post by: vintage bikeworks on June 05, 2011, 02:16:35 PM
Hello,
Anyone know of a source for the metal "crimp on" fuse holders inside the box under the seat?  They are the ones crimped to the individual wires and actually hold the fuse.  I've had a couple break and the easiest fix for me would be to crimp new ones on.  (Trying not to modify the fuse box if possible)  Thanks....  :-\

i've been told the pics might not show up here..  if not, send me a cell text # & i'll send you the pics.

Radio Shack will also have the individual connectors you cut off a tree..

I actually used the metal fuse holders from the one I got at Radio Shack and put them into my OEM fuse block.  THey snapped into the same place the original ones did.
On my last post on the thread that Lucky linked to I showed a picture of my new fuse block that I'll be installing soon.  The "repaired" OEM block has been working OK, but its time for a change and I think "doing it right" is the est thing to do now.
