Title: Barbers Vintage Days
Post by: artbone on September 16, 2014, 05:19:22 PM
It's that time again. Is anyone going?
I'll be in my usual place on the south side of the track near trolley stop 3. Just look for the Norton banners.
Ask anyone, they'll know where I am. I'll have the Vision banner up also.
Come on guys. I hate to drink all that tequila by myself.     ;D

RG, better get reservations if you're going this year.  October 9 - 11 this year.  3 day ticket is $50 if you get it early, they raise the price the week before the event.  I recently read that Yamaha and Triumph both reported significant increase in first quarter sales over previous year, so more folks are buying and enjoying motorcycles and likely more will attend the Barber event.  Barber also reported last year attendance was up significantly over previous year.  60,000+

Take your camera! :)

I met Artbone there in 2012, Went again in 2018 with Ron McCoy. Rode parade laps both times. First time with Sheriffs car pacing us at 35 MPH was a waste other than seeing the track.Second time they paced us with VFR Hondas and was able to get up to 100 mph, way more fun.
I had completed an engine swap the night before we departed.
