The part number you supplied shows up as "drive shaft" in the description on the fiche is used on many Yamaha models.  The Haines manual I have does not have part numbers listed, so  you must have gone to a website and looked up the part, and you would also have found it is available for about $10. us.

A second check calls the part "collar".  At this point you might consider contacting a dealer for clarification as I find it a bit confusing.  Something to consider is that all these parts were designed and manufactured in Japan, and then translated into English.

It might be the part numbered #4 in the attachttps://www.bike-parts-yam.de/yamaha-motorrad/950-MOTO/2014/BOLT/XVS950CUXV950/VORDERRAD/2014_69461-69461/26/0/46461 (https://www.bike-parts-yam.de/yamaha-motorrad/950-MOTO/2014/BOLT/XVS950CUXV950/VORDERRAD/2014_69461-69461/26/0/46461)hed diagram from a German site.

The part Haynes is pointing at is a lot longer than the parts diagrams would have you believe.  Those diagrams are very confusing at times.

Here it is:
Length: 70
ID: 17
OD: 24
mm of course.  Looks like it's made of unhardened mild steel. Seamless.

Rear wheel on. Thanks.

One stripped carb butterfly screw, so will be looking for left hand drill Monday, busy replacing shaft seals.

Interesting nomenclature. That looks like a bushing or spacer. I suppose it could be considered a collar for the axle.
