Title: For Sale in the northern VA/DC area
Post by: WGuaire on November 09, 2020, 08:35:09 AM
I saw this in the craiglist ads:

https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/mcy/d/middleburg-yamaha-xz550-vtwin-classic/7227543858.html

Not mine. I don't know anything other than the ad.

Figure what you are willing to pay, and make an offer.  Something curious regarding human nature; when approaching a 'deal' many folks have a reluctance to making an offer, they want the other guy to make the first move.  I have seen this play out with vintage musical instruments over and over.  "How much you want for that?", "Make me an offer". and it goes round and round until someone actually sets a number.  I have seen people walk away from a potential deal because no one was willing to put a number out.  If you want it make an offer.  Also, it seems to be a rule of the Universe that you have to ask for something.  You can have most anything but you have to ask for it.  Therein lie whole philosophies.   :police:
