My friend just bought his first bike. Its an 05' EX250 Ninja with 1800 miles on it. Basically its new.
The orginal owner bought it back in Feb and was selling it.
I noticed that when cold and at idle there is a loud tapping from the top of the motor.
But once the RPMs move up a bit it sounds fine. Does the bike need a valve adjustment?
Kawa EX 250? Eeyew...
Anyways, time for the first Factory-prescribed tune up.
Oil change, vavle adjustement, maybe some other stuff.

Yea its a ninja 250.
I suggested this bike for my friend instead of something like a 600. He was dead set on a crotch rocket but a 600 would be to much for his first bike.
Thats what I though about the tune up.
