Not sure if tha'ts a one off but it's sweet.  That's what I want to do with mine.  Can that tail piece be bought or is it off another bike?

I do believe it's a one off, or modified from another bike (Yamaha FZ?)

zore--
those are "cafe" race bike modifications.

more or less the most uncomfortable ride you could ever get on a vision, but if it is in your blood, there is none finer.  Cant get used to the feeling of being weged in the saddle when i had a bike set up like that .
The majority of those are hand laid fiberglass, special fit and custom set for each rider. you can still buy a kit to do that, but there is no real reason to do so ,unless you are going to run in vintage races or something. Plenty of better and more comfortable seating types to pick from.

Kia's got a point. On my cafe racer, my jewels get somewhat... sandwiched on the tank if I don't hold on strong to the clip-ons when braking hard.

But the handling's interesting in tight twisties. A bit of oversteer though.

I do have a normal seat, so I have maybe a cafe-racerish Vision  :D

I'm no stranger to cafe style bikes.  Infact I prefure the riding position for anything but 300 mile or more rides.  That seems to be my limit.  This is my 95 m900 that I've had since 98.  It seems to get a new paint job every year because... i can't paint worth a darn.
